Lakeland Catholic Schools Mourn Pope Francis
Novena for the Repose of His Holiness (Day 5)
Merciful and loving God, We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and sorrow as we remember Your servant, Pope Francis. You called him to be a shepherd to Your people, a voice for the poor, and a sign of Your mercy to the world. As we entrust him to Your eternal care, we ask You to welcome him into the joy of Your heavenly kingdom. Grant him peace, and give us strength to carry forward the light of his witness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Defender of Creation: We remember his call to care for creation. May we take up the challenge of Laudato Si’ i (Pope Francis’ call to care for the environment in our daily lives).
Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory Be…
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, And let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, Through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

✨ Faith in Action at École Dr. Brosseau! ✨
Yesterday afternoon a small group of students stopped by our prayer wall before heading home. With quiet reflection and a sense of excitement, they tied their intentions to the wall—a powerful reminder that prayer connects us, strengthens us, and lifts us up.
This wall is for everyone! Anyone who walks through our doors is invited to tie a coloured ribbon as a sign of their prayers and intentions. Thanks to these students for contributing to our rich faith culture at École Dr. Brosseau School!
Let’s continue to pray for one another and build each other up with the help of God! 🙏💙
