Last week the Lakeland Heat Lacrosse came to our school and taught us the basics of Lacrosse! We learned how to cradle, scoop, shoot and pass the ball!

Mental Health Matters at Dr. Brosseau! 🧠 Earlier today, students participated in a Mental Health Matters Pep Rally where they were reminded about the importance of mental wellness and how kindness, physcal activity, and laughter all contribute to their mental health. #LCSDJoy

🥇🏀District Champions!!🏀🥇 Congratulations to our 7/8 Boys Basketball Team who won the LSAA District Championship this past weekend! The boys played well this weekend, beating Assumption School and Aurora Middle School in the round robin and then playing a tight game against Cold Lake Junior High in the Final. The boys were able to pull ahead in the final minutes, winning 47-43! Way to go Bobcats!

As part of our School Lenten Project, we'll be collecting donations for both the Food Bank and the SPCA! 🥫🐾 Please join us in giving back to these vital organizations right here in our own community! FSL 7 students ended their Francophone Celebration unit by spending a class outside playing in the snow. Students learned about the Carnaval d'Hiver celebrated in Quebec and then enjoyed a maple cookie!

Students in grade 5 & 6 made and served pancakes to the entire school as we celebrated Shrove Tuesday today! A Catholic tradition to use up ingredients in your pantry as we start fasting today on Ash Wednesday and throughout the Lenten season! #ServicetoOthers
